I’ve been a wheelchair user for 15 years. It’s not impossible to have a meaningful life with a disability.

People often assume that people with disabilities (PWDs) regret their lives and do not live to the fullest.

This is far from the truth. There are so many amazing role (roll) models out there, who prove daily that they love their lives! Just because I use a wheelchair doesn’t mean that I don’t have a great quality of life. I have an amazing life that has its struggles, but I absolutely love it and don’t regret it.

Life is all about perspective, it’s how you look at things. I could have chosen to be upset, but I chose happiness, I chose laughter and love. The choice is yours to be whoever you want. Happiness is a choice that you have to make.

Living life with a disability isn’t that bad! It’s an innovative lifestyle that keeps me up on my feet.
