Women’s Day Celebration by IAP Odisha Branch

Women cell of Indian Association of Physiotherapists had celebrated International Women’s Day by Organising an Awareness Program On Menstrual Hygiene to the female students of Bhimbhoi Dristihina Vidyalaya at Bhubaneswar.There was an open ended communication with the girls on the issue of menstrual hygiene.The State Women cell head Dr.Priyadarshini,with Dr.Supriya and The State President Dr.Stiti Pragyan Dalbehera with Treasurer Dr.Prabhanjan and EC Dr.Tanaya are thankful to the Management for letting us interact with the female students of the Vidyalaya.Sanitary napkins were distributed to aware the girls about clean menstrual management material to absorb or collect blood that can be changed in privacy as often as necessary for duration of the menstruation period because any small ignorance in hygiene during periods can increase the vulnerability to reproductive tract infection.
